Dashboard Speaker Upgrade
Reward your ears with an improved audio system for Rav4 buyers who opted out of the premium speaker package. This guide will cover how to upgrade the dashboard speakers. It is very easy and offers the biggest rewards for the smallest budget. The dashboard speakers are 3.5 inches and are located in each corner of the front dashboard.

Remove Dashboard Cover
The speaker is located under the grill cover in the corners of the dashboard
Insert prying tool between grill cover and dashboard
You can start seeing the dashboard speaker
This is the underside of the cover. You must pry from the bottom then pull forward to remove

Remove Dashboard Speaker
Grab your 10mm socket wrench and remove the 2 bolts holding the dashboard speaker
Use a flat head to release and clip and then unplug the speaker

Observe the Difference
The speaker removed from the dashboard is a 4 ohm 20 watt speaker.
We are installing JBL Club 322F by HarmanThese are 3 ohms, 25 watt RMS, 75 watt Peak speakers
It is a big difference in appearance

Install New Dashboard Speaker
This is the wire harness we will use to connect the new speakers to the Rav4
It is compatible with the existing wires that come with the Rav4.

Close and Enjoy
Reseat into the housing and bolt down.

Could you do a guide for a Toyota RAV4 that has the JBL Upgraded System (different wire harness)? Specifically, my car is the 2021 XSE Hybrid trim. Thank you!
